The Washington Global Trade Center (WGTC) is an international economic development project that is intended to enhance District of Columbia's Status as a global financial and trade center.
The WGTC will be able to accommodate 3,000 foreign companies. The proposed plan calls for the trade center building to also house offices, a hotel, condominiums, retail shopping, a performance arts center, international restaurants, and parking.
